Featured in the Bride’s Diary – Publications & Media

I ran to the front door like a child on Christmas morning when I saw the Fastway lady skim past my window! Two collossal boxes were delivered to my door with plenty of copies of the latest issue of the Bride’s Diary. This Bride’s Diary is A4, heavy and some serious guns are needed to lift this hard covered, 400 pages magazine but never-the-less, it smelt like a new pair of leather boots, not a finger print mark in sight on it’s gloss cover and nothing but hundreds of suppliers ready to make your wedding day out of this world! (Long winded sentence much? lol you can handle it.)

I was so happy to be printed in the photographers section with a featured double page spread. There were some other fabulous photographers in there, a great range of styles and personalities to choose from. Well, my existing wedding clients.. the hard job is done for you! LOL. Choosing any vendor for your wedding whether it be your wedding photographer, videographer, florist to your make up artist.. can get rather daunting! But the Bride’s Diary helps to bring together and collect some of the Illawarra’s finest vendors in hope of ticking off most of your wedding vendor boxes in no time.

There were several other publications I was featured in this year and when I sat down with the manager of one of them last year, he said to me “And the best part about our publication as opposed to the Bride’s Diary is: Our publication doesn’t pose as an OH&S hazard if you drop it on your toe! LOL” Great selling point I thought.. innovative and creative way of stating one of your competitive advantages hehe. (Disclaimer: Both these publications are equally as good. No meani-ness was intended). The punch line was I thought it was Cute he promoted his publication that way, as though it was a half serious point hehe.

Woohoo! See you all at the next post..(*sniffles.. cold is recovering.. almost.. finally! 😐 ..I thought I was invincible making it all the way through winter without catching a cold and BAM! ..I get the flu half way through Spring. sigh.)
