Headlands Hotel Austinmer Beach | Wollongong Wedding Videographer

When I first spoke with Maddie on the phone in the midst of her planning, we laughed and were excited about all the fun little details she was finalising into her wedding details.

She was looking for a Wollongong wedding videographer and photography team to capture their memories.
She was quite particular on her vision and her and Dylan, coming from a hospitality background, had to choose Austimer Headlands Hotel as their venue.

Their all inclusive-package allowed for their morning to start slow in their quarters at the Hotel, where Maddie and Dylan met for their first look under the trees overlooking the backdrop of the beach where they shared an intimate moment for themselves… (well with their loved ones looking down from the balcony and finally piped up after they were done with their moment).

Maddie’s parents were quite moved at their only daughter getting married and how Maddie’s Dad couldn’t believe this day would come. Dylan’s daugher and Maddie are very close, and it was just as much about them celebrating their union as a family together in this new season of combining homes and starting a new life together.

After their first look, we roamed the streets of Austinmer for some fun urban wedding photos and rustic images before heading to their ceremony to declare their vows under the trees of the Glastonbury Gardens across the road from Headlands Hotel.

Their vows throughout their wedding trailer are sweet, I just won’t be able to do them justice haha.
Their life adventures to date will continue on into their years, with every storm they will surely come through on the other side — like a dinner rush will subside.

Arriving at the reception, the coastal shores of Austinmer welcomed us with fairy floss skies and a cloud cover that we just had to snap a few photos of.
Their reception backdrop were the cliff edges of Austinmer beach and a warm, relaxed Summer night where the sun went down at 8pm with their celebrations feeling like a California sunset party.

Their seafood spread and food was second to none and their warm service and friendly staff was like being welcomed into a home on a Saturday night dinner with well-known friends.
Check out their wedding video and let us know what you think!
