Leisa & Jay – Wedding – Illawarra Wedding Photographer

Where do I start? Leisa aimed for her wedding day to be a little different instead of the non-traditional cake, she went with chocolate covered strawberries, instead of reception photography she hired a funbooth for 4 hours (for those of you who don’t know what that is, it’s unreal! Fun fun fun! they don’t call it funbooth for nothing! lol) and lastly Leisa is going to Trash her Dress! Yeowww! Now Trash the Dress, in a nutshell, is a pretty ‘out-there’ thing to do, only the most daring of brides step out of their comfort zone and actually smuther their dress in dirt/water/sand or anything gritty lol ..But I’m so excited! Keep posted! 🙂

So to start the day, Leisa and the girls were getting ready at the Sebel Hotel in Kiama, the atmosphere of Kiama is breathtaking. When I arrived, the air was warm, the sun was shining and we were in for one heck of a great day! All the way through the girls were laughing and just being girls.

To start the details off we have, Leisa’s gorgeous princess shoes and a dear brooch she bought for her bouquet. To bring you into the life of Leisa and Jay for a second, Jay is unreal guy and loves his dear.. I mean the animal, not Leisa LOL ..Ok I get it I’m not that funny *sigh* I can still try though. Anyway back to Jay, he hunts dear and the first time I met them they had a giant dear head mounted on their living room wall. So to pay a tribute to Jay’s sport, Leisa bought a brooch with a dear on it.. now that you know the story, we call all ‘aww’ together ..ready.. ‘AWWWWW” (crescendo)

And off to the ceremony we went..

Hehe Jay crying tears of joy .. he pulled himself together luckily whilst the celebrant leant him a hand with her tissue

..Jay and Leisa had their wedding reception at the Grange and we scouted out the golf course nearby to get some down to earth shots

they were a funny bunch lol ..

Rested underneath the railway track lied this beautiful sequence of pillars..

35k motor + burn out = a very scared Ela planted on the side of the road with fear for her existence within the next 2 minutes lol

..and I was left in smoke by the end of it ..good times 🙂

The reception was simple clean and just beautiful! ..It turns out, I knew one of Leisa’s friends who attended the wedding and so we sat together during meals and chatted the night away.. even good-er times hehe
