Kimberley Storos – Fashion Shoot – Sandon Point – Bulli

A saturday morning with my good friend Kimmy, we shot down at Sandon Point Park in Bulli. I noticed this location in a friend’s wedding photos and I was determined to shoot there! The texture of this structure behind kim was so diverse. We had about 7 boat cribs in a row to find each one had a unique texture. The first has a broken wood step with rusted old doors with antique locks.. the next has a cage with corrugated iron along the side, the next had just wood accompanied by bars!!! A photographers dream!!!! 🙂 I was in heaven! ..I would much rather prefer to shoot it a rustic beat down location than in gardens most days, especially during weddings as I really like the contrast in beauty. Having said that shooting at Log Cabin Inn, Penrith really did take my breath away along the river with the light diffused by the clouds and the water’s reflection making you want to pinch yourself it was so beautiful!

Overall the this shoot was on the hottest morning I felt possible in 2010 and it didn’t help that I wore a race back tank top.. Now I have the funniest looking tan line known to mankind.. But as a photographer I guess you have to make some sacrifices to get the best possible looking image. Hmm I think I’ll take the image 🙂

Thanks for viewing..
Bye for now!
